STORY

Born in Italy, Gennaro had left to find a new life in America with his wife, Silvana in 1899. She was pregnant with their daughter, so he wanted to give them a good life in their new home.
Unfortunately for him, life was going to be difficult, jumping from one job to the next in an attempt to find something stable and that gives him enough money for his growing family.At some point, Gennaro had started crime. He found that it gave him money quickly, and it was easy for a man like him. Not to mention he enjoyed it. And Gennaro enjoyed hte power he had gotten even more. It wasn't long before Gennaro was in charge of his own mini-mafia that had grown larger until he had a good portion of Chicago under his thumb back before 1942 - the year in which he retired from the work to hand down to his son and second child, Sergio.These days, Gennaro leads a more peaceful life, still in Zuccarello territory, often giving his family advice on what moves to make next. He looks like a kind old man now, but Gennaro still has a mean streak about him.

STORY

Silvana was born into a mostly simple life in Italy, having met Gennaro by chance before 1898. The two fell in love and eventually married, preparing to have their first child only one year later at twenty and eighteen.She had put all her faith and trust into her husband, even following him across the ocean and into America around 1899 despite them beginning to struggle once they landed. The two lived in Chicago since moving to the states. She even followed Gennaro when he took up a life of crime, trusting that he could keep her and their children safe.Silvana died in 1953 at the age of seventy-five of natural causes. She was buried soon after.

STORY

Born in 1899, Miriam is the first child and only daughter of Silvana and Gennaro Zuccarello. She only has memories of her family's crime work, having normalized it to her from a very, very young age.She had wanted to be the next Don, but her father didn't allow it and instead gave the position to her younger brother by a year: Sergio. This left Miriam hateful for a long time, at some point considering putting out hits on her brother and father, though she had been distracted soon after by matters of her own little family.Miriam had met a man by the name of Davide Tavani and despite him being six years older than her, she fell in love with him and the two married in 1920 when Miriam was twenty-one. Two years later, they had their first son: Angelo - who would later die in Arlington Heights during a small shootout.

Sergio, like the rest of the family apart from his parents, was born into the mafia life - having known nothing but it his whole life.
He's always been intelligent and loyal to the family, which not only passed down to his children but had been part of the reason he was chosen by his father as the next Don - apart from being the oldest son.He had initially intended to marry a different woman before Adriana came around, which his parents approved of more due to her being Italian as well. Wanting to keep his family happy, Sergio had married Adriana, and thankfully, the two fell in love on their own, having three sons together by 1934.Sergio is a very good Don, keeping both his family afloat and the police off their asses. He always thinks before he acts yet is extremely ruthless.

Damiano had almost always been considered a "black sheep" of the family. Not only was he born on Friday the 13th, but he overall didn't seem to be very helpful toward the work his family does. This meant he was often shrugged off.In recent years, Damiano still does minor work as a lookout and extra gunman if needed. The most responsibility he is given is showing new recruits around or how to shoot guns if they need extra training.His bad luck isn't just revolved around the family: But to his love life as well, having more failed relationships than anyone else he knows. Damiano is overall considered a toon amongst his peers, something to laugh at rather than respect.

It was at eighteen that Gennaro had went out on one of his first jobs and got shot down - overwhelmed by more men than had been planned for.His story is short and sad, but Gennaro is still often remembered fondly and spoken of by his siblings and father.

Michele had been born expected to take after his father such as Sergio had done himself. Most mafia families don't work in the way of blood = a certified Don spot, but Gennaro had chosen to make his own family function in that way.So, he had always grown up with too much responsibility on his shoulders, often stressed even from a young age, to be the absolute best he could be. Michele has yet to find a partner, much to his parents annoyance and constant reminder - though Michele could just allow any future nephews take over instead, as it is unlikely for anyone to allow a woman to be Don due to their patriarchal rule.He often accompanies his father in the office, or most places, to learn about the duties of a Don - though Michele also joins jobs as anyone else would.

Ettore is treated as a "forgotten" little brother who isn't given any responsibility - much to his distaste. He wants to be more than just a gunman for the family, but with Michele more than likely to get to the highest spot and Vittorio already in their parents' good graces, Ettore is left with almost nothing.Bitter, he often considers putting hits on his brothers, wondering if he could secure something more than what he currently has. Ettore doesn't understand how difficult being a higher up can be - or that his parents are much more kind toward their children than other mafias tend to be, meaning rather than give Ettore a spot to replace, they'd likely kill him too or throw him out.He's still learning the ropes, at only twenty, but that doesn't make him any less eager to get something out of this gig.

Unfortunately, he had left all by himself on a trip and was caught by rival men in Arlington Heights, where he would enter the shootout that would take his life.Despite how annoying he had been, his family still retells stories of him fondly, wishing they didn't have to search for his body - which had been found five days after he died - all alone.The men who had killed Angelo were part of the Marino family - who had caused a large-scale war between them and the Zuccarellos.

Camilla has always had big dreams like her mother, wanting to be important for the family and their function. Camilla often makes fun of or downright ridicules her sister - Rosanna for not wanting to be as involved, not very supportive of how "lazy" her sister is being.Unfortunately for her parents, Camilla often neglects possible love in her life, focusing almost purely on the family and working.

Edmondo has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to get married and have children so he can secure his family's bloodline - along with wriggling into a higher position considering his father managed to secure the spot of Consigliere.Because the only other Tavani son is dead, it leaves Edmondo in charge of continuing their legacy, since Miriam and Davide are done having children - not that they can exactly produce more anyway. So he's often brought out to social gatherings that are both a mixture of figuring out their next moves and making good connections in hopes that he'll find a nice girl to settle with. Though Edmondo thinks this is stupid and doesn't want to be like his cousin Vittorio with a superficial girl.

They never thought their daughter would take up such a risk.Adriana knew from the beginning that the reason Sergio married her was because his parents wanted him to marry someone Italian - and she had felt insecure for almost a year of their marriage, feeling like she wasn't what he wanted. Especially since Sergio was originally engaged to someone else before her. But over time, they had become closer and rather than a marriage of convenience, they ended up in a marriage of love.She was more than glad to have children, trying to teach them morals despite the life they had been born into, which only mostly worked. Being a wife and mother had been Adraina's only job as Sergio didn't want her in harm's way and claimed he was following not just society's rules, but her natural talents - which had always been holding a baby than a gun.

She doesn't necessarily like America, but Elena figures it's better than nothing.She met Vittorio at a big, fancy store one day and instantly became attracted to not just his appearance - but his money as well. Elena had managed to squeeze into his love life despite Vittorio usually being a "playboy" type and promptly began to spend his money as she wished once he had allowed her his cards.Now that she's going to get married to him, Elena is sure to get even more money, willfully ignoring what sort of work her fiance and his family does because she just wants cash. She knows he has to marry her to keep his parents happy despite their relationship beginning to crumble, and she sometimes uses that against him.
